Responsibilities

• Develop and implement foreign exchange risk management strategies to minimize currency exposure and financial losses.
• Analyze market trends and economic indicators to forecast currency movements and inform decision making for financial transactions.
• Monitor and report on foreign exchange transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, treasury, and operations teams, to manage currency risks effectively.
• Evaluate and recommend hedging instruments, such as forwards, options, and swaps, to protect against currency fluctuations.
• Maintain relationships with banking partners and foreign exchange service providers to negotiate favorable rates and terms for transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations on foreign exchange exposure, hedging strategies, and performance for senior management.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and procedures related to foreign exchange to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior finance team members on foreign exchange concepts, risk management techniques, and best practices.
• Stay informed about global economic developments, geopolitical events, and regulatory changes that may impact foreign exchange markets and financial operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in foreign exchange trading or financial management.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets and foreign exchange regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
