Job Description

The Assistant Finance Manager plays a crucial role within the financial department of an organization, supporting the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This position involves collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial data collection and budget preparation. The individual will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting cost and revenue analysis, and monitoring compliance with legal and organizational financial standards. The Assistant Finance Manager will also work on improving financial processes and contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance financial performance and growth. A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and consolidating financial reports regularly.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data to identify trends.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor and develop budgets to track organizational financial performance.
  • Support financial forecasting and modeling to aid strategic planning.
  • Review financial policies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Assist in managing audits and responding to financial inquiries transparently.
  • Develop and implement changes to financial processes and systems for efficiency.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and sustainability.
  • Train and support finance team members in financial management tasks.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management to guide decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial documentation required for statutory filings.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial management role preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with financial regulations and compliance matters is a plus.
