Job Description

The Lead Inspection Engineer is a pivotal role that centers on ensuring the integrity and safety of industrial equipment by managing and executing thorough inspection processes. This position demands a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent leadership skills to oversee a team of inspection professionals. The Lead Inspection Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and reviewing inspection tasks to comply with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee inspection activities to ensure equipment safety compliance.
  • Develop and implement inspection protocols aligned with industry standards.
  • Lead a team of inspection specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assess risk and prioritize inspection tasks based on equipment criticality.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and interpretation of inspection results.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and maintained properly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams for corrective action plans.
  • Remain updated on the latest inspection techniques and technological advancements.
  • Advocate for safety and integrity by promoting best practices in inspections.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and inspection personnel.
  • Manage inspection records, ensuring accuracy and availability for audits.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in inspection engineering or related domain.
  • Proven experience leading inspection teams and managing inspection projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry inspection standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex inspection data accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and report presentation.
  • Proficiency with inspection software tools and technologies is highly desirable.
