Job Description

As an Assistant Store Manager in the retail sector, you will play a critical role in achieving store sales goals and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will report directly to the Store Manager and be responsible for various operational and supervisory tasks. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in daily administrative and operational tasks.
  • Oversee store staff to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
  • Participate in setting store goals and strategies for sales enhancement.
  • Manage inventory control, including stock ordering and replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for retail staff members.
  • Develop and maintain visual merchandising in accordance with brand standards.
  • Monitor store’s financial performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Resolve customer complaints with appropriate and timely solutions.
  • Conduct performance reviews and deliver constructive feedback to staff.
  • Ensure a clean, well-organized, and secure store environment for customers.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in retail management or similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using retail management and point-of-sale software.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
