Job Description

As a Hotel Cleanliness Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the hotel's ambiance remains welcoming and hygienic for all guests. Your keen eye for detail and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness will directly contribute to the satisfaction and comfort of hotel patrons. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team, implementing cleaning protocols, and ensuring that all rooms and public areas meet cleanliness benchmarks. In addition, you will be tasked with training staff, managing cleaning supplies, and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any cleanliness issues promptly. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high cleaning standards in all hotel areas.
  • Oversee and guide the housekeeping team towards maintaining cleanliness protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of rooms and public spaces.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and sanitary regulations in all locales.
  • Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and efficiency techniques.
  • Manage inventory and stock of cleaning products and equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with the management to address guest complaints regarding cleanliness.
  • Implement and update cleaning policies as per new health regulations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for the repair or replacement of deficient items.
  • Create schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff efficiently.
  • Monitor the budget for housekeeping operations and control expenditures.
  • Lead initiatives to improve environmental sustainability within housekeeping processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field required.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a focus on results.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and appropriate usage protocols essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Possess a customer-centric mindset with a passion for service excellence.
