Job Description

As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a vital role in creating an outstanding experience for our guests, serving as the first point of contact and the face of our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure guests receive a warm welcome and are provided with exemplary customer service throughout their stay. You will handle all guest inquiries, process check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and address any issues that arise with promptness and courtesy. Your professional demeanor and ability to work under pressure will contribute significantly to ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in guests as they arrive at the establishment.
  • Provide information about the facilities and services offered on-site.
  • Assist guests with any inquiries or issues during their stay.
  • Process guest check-outs efficiently and prepare bills accurately.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy reception area at all times.
  • Address guest complaints in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Update records and information within the reservation system accurately.
  • Offer suggestions for local attractions and dining to enhance guest experience.
  • Ensure all check-in procedures are followed, including verification of guest identity.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions with accountability and accuracy.
  • Provide high levels of customer service, adhering to organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hotel environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management and reservation systems.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • High level of professionalism and a positive, welcoming attitude.
