Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the immaculate upkeep of our establishment. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations, guaranteeing consistently high cleanliness and hygiene standards. You will lead and motivate a dedicated team, ensuring they deliver top-tier service to our guests while maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. Your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be pivotal in managing schedules, inventory, and quality control processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for hospitality.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in planning and organizing housekeeping activities efficiently.
  • Supervise and support the housekeeping team to maintain high cleaning standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning practices and safety procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints concerning housekeeping services promptly.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety regulations for all housekeeping operations.
  • Plan employee work schedules and effectively manage time-off requests.
  • Ensure all housekeeping equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.
  • Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to housekeeping staff regularly.
  • Develop improvement strategies to enhance overall housekeeping efficiency and service quality.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or related supervisory roles needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team management and guest interaction.
  • Familiarity with housekeeping procedures and equipment maintenance essential.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
