As a Restaurant and Bar Manager, you'll be at the helm of creating an exceptional dining and bar experience that delights customers while achieving business targets. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees effectively.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly to maintain guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stock levels without excessive surplus.
  • Execute financial transactions, maintaining accuracy and accountability in sales handling.
  • Implement innovative marketing strategies to increase patronage and sales revenue.
  • Coordinate with chefs and bartenders on menu and drink offerings to delight guests.
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations in restaurant operations.
  • Analyze financial targets and develop plans to achieve business performance goals.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings for staff engagement, feedback, and development.
  • Track and report restaurant performance metrics to the management team regularly.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant and Bar Manager or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing and motivating service teams.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials and quality of food service.
  • Excellent customer service skills ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent communication skills enabling effective interaction with patrons.
