Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Professor to join our team in the field of Human Resource Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to HR management, conducting research, publishing scholarly work, and advising students. The position requires a deep understanding of HR theories, principles, and practices, as well as the ability to engage and inspire students in the classroom. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to academic excellence and professional growth, are essential. A Ph.D. or equivalent in Human Resource Management or a related field is required. Previous teaching experience and a record of scholarly publications are preferred. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver courses in human resource management at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Conduct research in the field of human resource management and contribute to academic journals and conferences.
  • Advise and mentor students on academic and career matters, including potential internships and job opportunities in the field.
  • Stay current with trends and developments in human resource management through ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and revise curriculum to meet industry needs and standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities to contribute to the overall success of the institution.
  • Provide academic and career counseling to students pursuing a concentration or degree in human resource management.
  • Engage in community outreach and networking activities to promote the program and build partnerships with local organizations.
  • Serve as a thesis advisor for students completing their capstone projects in human resource management.
  • Contribute to the accreditation process by providing documentation and evidence of program effectiveness and student learning outcomes in the field of human resource management.

  • PhD or equivalent in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching HRM courses at the university level.
  • Record of scholarly research in HRM, evidenced by publications in reputable academic journals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students in a diverse academic community.
