Dialysis Technician

As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a crucial role in the specialized field of kidney care, providing life-saving dialysis treatment to patients dealing with renal failure. • Provide patient guidance on dialysis process and respond to their questions and concerns.
• Administer dialysis treatment under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patients closely for any adverse reactions during and after dialysis treatment.
• Accurately document treatment data including ultrafiltration rates and vital statistics.
• Maintain and troubleshoot dialysis machines to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized treatment environment following healthcare safety standards.
• Provide immediate care and escalate any patient issues to nursing staff or physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to customize patient care and treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay updated with dialysis techniques and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, plus a certified dialysis technician program completion.
• Previous experience working in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining dialysis equipment and machinery.
