Job Description

The role of a Payroll Analyst is imperative to maintaining the financial integrity and smooth operational flow of any organization. This professional is entrusted with the intricate tasks associated with managing, analyzing, and executing payroll functions within a company. As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that employee salaries are processed in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Accurately manage and process employee payroll records for timely payments.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to resolve any payroll discrepancies encountered.
  • Maintain updated knowledge on payroll systems software and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and generate payroll reports and summaries for management review.
  • Handle payroll taxes to ensure correct deduction and submission timely.
  • Assist in the auditing of payroll-related documents and processes regularly.
  • Respond swiftly to payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees.
  • Continuously seek methods for improving payroll process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information at all times.
  • Train and support backup payroll staff to ensure process continuity.
  • Coordinate payment distribution and handle special payroll adjustments as needed.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in payroll processing or related role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
  • Solid understanding of payroll and tax legislation compliance is necessary.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
