Job Description

A Computer Hardware Technician is a key player in the IT infrastructure of any organization, responsible for the maintenance and repair of computer systems and networks. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service capabilities. Technicians work with various computer components such as processors, memory modules, hard drives, and networking hardware to ensure all computer systems and servers are functioning optimally. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware repairs and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices.
  • Experience with installing operating systems and software packages efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and handle various types of hardware.
  • Good communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
