Responsibilities
  • Prospect and generate leads: Identify and research new business opportunities through cold-calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.
  • Build and manage client relationships: Act as the primary point of contact, understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations: Effectively showcase products and services to potential customers, explaining features and benefits in a clear, persuasive manner.
  • Negotiate and close deals: Discuss terms of sale, address objections, and finalize contracts to meet and exceed sales quotas and targets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline: Use customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activities, monitor leads, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide market feedback: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights to marketing and product development teams.
  • Report on sales performance: Consistently report on sales activities and forecasts, and review performance against monthly or annual targets.
  • Collaborate internally: Work with marketing, customer support, and other teams to ensure a seamless and positive client experience. 
Required skills and qualifications
Excellent communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for building rapport, delivering presentations, and negotiating effectively.
  • Resilience and determination: The ability to handle rejection and setbacks with a positive attitude is key to navigating the competitive, target-driven sales environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills: Must be able to balance client needs with company goals to close deals that are mutually beneficial.
  • Time management and organization: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple client relationships and deadlines is critical for success.
  • Product knowledge: A deep understanding of the company's products and services is necessary to effectively advise customers and answer questions.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools is a standard requirement for tracking and managing the sales process.
  • Self-motivated: Successful sales executives are driven by targets and can work independently without constant supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree: A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, but not always required depending on experience.
