Job Description

As a Waiter or Waitress, you will be an essential part of our dining establishment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to creating memorable moments for our patrons.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers warmly, seat them, and provide menus promptly.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and answer questions about menu items.
  • Enter orders into the system, ensuring accuracy in specifications and special requests.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen staff and communicate any modifications or dietary requirements.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide attentive service throughout the meal, ensuring drink refills and addressing additional needs.
  • Suggest menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance the dining experience.
  • Upsell additional beverages, desserts, or appetizers when appropriate.
  • Address customer concerns, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and management to resolve issues.
  • Present checks to customers, process payments accurately, and return change or receipts.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payment methods efficiently.
  • Set up tables with utensils, napkins, condiments, and other items before guests arrive.
  • Clear tables, reset them, and ensure cleanliness for incoming diners.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate special requests and modifications effectively to the kitchen.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and portion sizes.
  • Provide accurate information to customers who inquire about dishes.
  • Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing for the next shift.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a restaurant or hospitality setting is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail to accurately record orders and fulfill customer requests.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
  • Adaptability to changing customer needs and dining demands.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills for effective communication with the kitchen and other staff.
  • Ethical conduct and professionalism in representing the establishment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
