Job Description

The Training and Development Executive is an integral member of the human resources team, tasked with boosting the knowledge, skills, and efficiency of employees within an organization. The executive focuses on designing, conducting, and implementing effective training programs that foster continuous professional growth and ensure that employees remain adept and equipped for evolving industry demands. This role involves the periodic assessment of training needs, creating impactful training materials, and implementing evaluation systems to track progression and skill acquisition. By driving a learning culture, the Training and Development Executive plays a pivotal role in directly impacting employee morale, satisfaction, and overall organizational growth.


Responsibilities

  • Assess organizational training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations.
  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to employee skill gaps.
  • Design engaging instructional materials and training manuals for programs.
  • Coordinate and deliver classroom, digital, and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of training objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness, amending when necessary.
  • Maintain and update current training courseware and technological tools.
  • Establish and maintain budgets for diverse training initiatives and programs.
  • Identify opportunities for employee development and suggest improvements.
  • Utilize feedback systems to ensure high-quality training program delivery.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and integrate them into training solutions.
  • Build a database of reliable training resources and contacts for reference.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years experience in training and development role.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design.
  • Proficient in using e-learning platforms and content authoring tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
  • Proven ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
