Job Description

The HR Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the human resources department by undertaking a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks. This position requires a dedication to fostering a collaborative work environment. The HR Associate contributes to the successful operation of the HR department by managing records, preparing reports, and assisting in the recruitment process. They are the bridge between the HR department and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. Moreover, the HR Associate helps in maintaining a positive employee experience and organizational culture, thus playing a crucial role in the overall effectiveness of any organization. Their responsibilities often extend to assisting with compensation and benefits administration, conducting initial employee orientation and training sessions, and updating company policies and procedures to comply with labor legislation.


Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures to staff members.
  • Be actively involved in the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions.
  • Source candidates by conducting initial screening calls and interviews.
  • Assist in performance management processes to ensure staff contributions.
  • Manage employee records and update databases with timely information.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies consistently.
  • Handle employee complaints and grievances with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Promote HR programs to foster a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits plans effectively.
  • Prepare HR reports and analysis to aid decision-making by management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or similar HR role required.
  • Strong understanding of labor legislation and payroll processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage staff effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software systems.
