Learning and Development Specialist

Learning and Development Specialists are pivotal in facilitating the continuous growth and skill enhancement of employees within an organization. As a catalyst for professional development, this role involves identifying training needs, designing engaging educational programs, and deploying various learning initiatives. In this position, you will collaborate with leaders, assess existing training programs, and implement exceptionally effective learning methodologies. You'll be responsible for creating a culture of learning by leveraging your knowledge of instructional design, blended learning experiences, and adult learning principles. Your work will ensure that an organization’s workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a competitive business environment, thereby directly contributing to overall business success.

• Develop and maintain annual training budgets, ensuring resource allocation is optimized.
• Collaborate effectively with HR and leadership teams to support talent management initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field required.
• A minimum of three years experience in Learning and Development roles is essential.
• Proven experience designing and implementing successful training programs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning tools is preferred.
• Certification in training or instructional design will be considered an asset.
