Job Description

The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives for talent acquisition that align with business objectives. This leadership position involves overseeing the entire recruitment process, building relationships with internal stakeholders to better understand their needs, and creating efficient strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. The individual in this role will manage a team of recruiters and provide mentorship and development opportunities to ensure a high-performance recruiting function. They are expected to maintain current knowledge of recruiting best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the organization’s ability to attract top talent. Additionally, the Head of Talent Acquisition collaborates closely with HR and departmental leaders to understand workforce needs, align talent acquisition strategies with organizational goals, and support diversity and inclusion initiatives. This role requires a keen understanding of various industry trends and challenges in acquiring talent, enabling them to adapt and respond swiftly to changing market dynamics. 


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives to support business growth objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruitment professionals, fostering skill development.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to forecast talent needs and manage expectations.
  • Identify and utilize emerging recruitment technologies and platforms to attract candidates.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand to attract top-tier candidates.
  • Drive recruitment metrics to evaluate and enhance overall recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with HR to streamline onboarding processes for seamless candidate transitions.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within talent acquisition strategies.
  • Analyze market trends to adapt recruitment strategies to current industry conditions.
  • Manage recruitment budget and optimize resources for cost-effective talent acquisition.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on recruitment status, challenges, and opportunities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing recruitment teams.
  • In-depth understanding of recruitment best practices, strategies, and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion within recruitment practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive recruitment strategy decisions.
