Senior Planning Engineer

Role Purpose

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for leading the planning and scheduling function across assigned projects, ensuring that all project programmes are realistic, well-coordinated, and effectively monitored. The role provides expertise in developing baseline schedules, resource allocation, and progress measurement systems to support the timely and cost-effective delivery of infrastructure works. Acting as a key interface between project management, site teams, and senior leadership, the Senior Planning Engineer ensures compliance with contract requirements, identifies risks and delays, and recommends corrective actions. The position contributes to strategic decision-making by providing accurate analysis, forecasts, and reports, ultimately supporting Innovo Infrastructure’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget 

- Develop and manage baseline schedules for multiple projects.
- Monitor progress, identify delays, and recommend recovery actions.
- Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
- Conduct time impact analysis for claims and variations.
- Coordinate with procurement, technical, and construction teams for updates.
- Mentor and guide planning engineers in schedule management.
- Ensure schedules comply with contractual requirements and best practices.

- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years’ planning experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
