Job Description

An HR Assistant plays a vital role in the smooth operation of human resources departments in any organization. This position is crucial for the effective management of HR processes, providing essential support in various administrative roles. As an HR Assistant, you'll be expected to coordinate HR functions, manage employment records, assist in recruitment efforts, and uphold company policies. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by screening resumes and conducting initial interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records according to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the HR department in implementing and executing HR strategies and procedures.
  • Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Organize and maintain HR filing systems manually and electronically for efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of HR reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate communication among employees and resolve any HR-related issues promptly.
  • Manage the completion and submission of employee timesheets and payroll documents.
  • Support in organizing employee engagement activities and company events when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR practices and policies.
  • Assist HR management with resolving employee conflicts and participating in disciplinary meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an HR support role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and employment regulations is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
