Senior Architect

As a Senior Architect, you will lead and manage architectural design projects from concept development through construction completion. You will play a key role in developing design concepts, coordinating with clients and consultants, and overseeing project teams. Your expertise in architectural design, project management, and mentorship will be integral to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process by conceptualizing, developing, and refining architectural plans and drawings for various types of buildings and structures.
• Incorporate sustainable and innovative design principles into projects.
• Manage architectural projects from concept to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project progression.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of architects and designers, fostering collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes specific to the UAE to ensure designs adhere to legal and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit necessary documents for approvals and permits.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and objectives.
• Present design concepts and progress updates to clients and address their feedback and concerns.
• Demonstrate proficiency in architectural software and tools for drafting, modelling, and visualization.
• Ensure that architectural designs are technically feasible and can be executed within budget and timeline constraints.
• Review design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project goals.
• Provide on-site supervision and guidance during the construction phase to ensure that the project is being built according to the approved design.
• Stay informed about emerging architectural trends, materials, and technologies to integrate into projects.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a reputable institution.
• Proven experience as an architect, with a significant portion in a senior or leadership role.
• Registration as a licensed architect in the UAE is often required.
• Strong proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
