Responsibilities

  • Lead the pastry team effectively, providing guidance and training as necessary.

  • Ensure all equipment is used properly and is in working condition for safety.
  • Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products for consistency.

  • Stay updated with the latest pastry trends and integrate them into our menu.
  • Implement and monitor portion control to minimize waste and manage costs.
  • Prepare detailed reports on production and manage daily productivity targets.


Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef in a reputable establishment.
  • Exceptional skills in pastry art and detailed-oriented dessert presentation.
  • Culinary certification or relevant educational background is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and the science of ingredient interactions.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Solid understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations compliance.
  • Competence in managing inventory and sourcing quality ingredients cost-effectively.
