Job Description

An IT Recruiter plays a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of a company by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified IT professionals. The IT Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, develop job descriptions, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process. Typical responsibilities will include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating recruitment events, and maintaining a pipeline of suitable candidates. The IT Recruiter is also tasked with building a strong network within the IT community, both online and offline, to ensure access to a pool of talented candidates. They must be adept at leveraging various recruitment channels, including social media, job portals, and networking events, to attract and engage prospective candidates. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to handle multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, the IT Recruiter must stay updated with the latest industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance and best recruitment practices.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top IT talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create detailed job descriptions.
  • Source potential candidates using various recruitment methods like job portals.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist ideal candidates for interviews.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate suitability for the role.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers effectively.
  • Maintain and update the recruitment database with candidate information.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events and career fairs.
  • Provide feedback to candidates regarding the outcomes of their applications.
  • Build and maintain a network with IT professionals and industry contacts.
  • Stay updated on new recruiting technology and industry trends.
  • Manage the offer process and negotiate terms of employment effectively.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience as an IT Recruiter for at least two years.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and IT terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Proven ability to manage recruitment processes from start to finish.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
