Senior Architect

The Senior Architect is responsible for leading architectural design projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet client requirements, regulatory guidelines, and aesthetic standards. This role involves coordination with clients, engineers, consultants, and construction teams, along with overseeing design documentation and supervising junior architects. The ideal candidate should have strong design sensibility, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of building codes and modern architecture practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design development and planning for architectural projects.

• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

• Oversee the production of architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation.

• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure integration of all disciplines.

• Conduct site visits and monitor construction to ensure adherence to design.

• Mentor and supervise junior architects and designers.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and building codes.

• Present design proposals to stakeholders and obtain approvals.

• Keep up to date with emerging architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

• Minimum 8–10 years of architectural design experience.

• Proven portfolio of large-scale commercial or residential projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design tools.

• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of building codes and construction methods.

• Registration with a recognized architectural body is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
