AutoCAD Draftsman

The AutoCAD Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architects. This role requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD and an understanding of engineering and architectural standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of interpreting design inputs accurately, and able to produce precise technical drawings under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.

• Review and revise technical drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects.

• Maintain drawing files and documentation in an organized manner.

• Interpret design concepts and translate them into technical layouts.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accuracy.

• Ensure all drawings adhere to applicable codes and standards.

• Update and maintain technical databases with revised versions.

• Assist in the development of shop drawings and as-built documentation.

• Coordinate with project teams to meet submission deadlines.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.

• Knowledge of construction and engineering drawing standards.

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple drawing sets and revisions.

• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with 3D modeling is a plus.
