Job Description

As a Relationship Manager in Banking, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and strengthening customer relationships. You will be the primary point of contact, responsible for ensuring that clients have access to a wide array of financial products and services tailored to their needs. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing financial data, understanding market trends, and facilitating solutions to meet clients' financial goals. You will also be instrumental in cross-selling services, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. With a dedicated approach to building long-term partnerships, you will contribute significantly to the bank’s revenue and growth objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of major clients.
  • Identify potential business opportunities through in-depth client and market analysis.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management concerns.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of financial services to meet clients' needs and objectives.
  • Build and enhance long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client requests efficiently.
  • Cross-sell banking products and services to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clients' financial health and business needs.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed presentations and reports tailored to client requirements.
  • Assist clients in navigating changes in market conditions and financial products.
  • Manage a team of associate relationship managers and ensure their professional development.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance in all client interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relationship management within the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, market analysis, and industry regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are mandatory.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and client satisfaction targets.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with client management software and CRM tools is highly preferred.
