As a Lead/Senior Product Manager – ETA & Routing, you will be at the heart of Careem’s mission to simplify and improve lives in the region. You will lead the strategy and execution for marketplace dynamics, with a focus on optimizing matching efficiency, enhancing reliability, and delivering delightful experiences to both Captains and Customers.
You will work across multiple functions to drive innovation in real-time supply-demand balancing, dynamic pricing, ETA prediction, and marketplace reliability. This is a high-impact role critical to the performance of all Careem verticals, requiring a balance of strategic thinking, technical depth, data acumen, and customer obsession.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Efficiency & Growth
Develop and execute strategies that improve the real-time matching of Captains and Customers across verticals.
Drive improvements in supply-demand balance to reduce cancellations, waiting times, and unfulfilled orders.
Increase order fulfillment and completion rates across markets.
ETA Optimization and Reliability
Own ETA optimization by enhancing supply positioning, real-time dispatching, and predictive allocation models.
Partner with Engineering and Data Science to continuously refine ETA prediction models, accounting for traffic, geography, and Captain behavior.
Diagnose and correct deviations in ETA performance across markets through targeted interventions.
Dynamic Pricing & Supply Management
Design and implement dynamic pricing algorithms to ensure optimal supply availability during peak and non-peak times.
Conduct elasticity studies to determine pricing and incentive sensitivity.
Collaborate with Finance and Data Science to assess the financial impact of pricing strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
Analytics & Experimentation
Define and monitor KPIs like matching efficiency, fulfillment rate, cancellation reasons, and ETA trends.
Lead A/B experimentation to test matching strategies, pricing models, and dispatch optimizations.
Build a comprehensive marketplace performance dashboard in collaboration with Analytics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a central point of alignment between Product, Engineering, Operations, Growth, Finance, and Data teams.
Act as the voice of the customer and the Captain, ensuring their needs are reflected in product decisions.
Lead cross-functional ceremonies (e.g., standups, reviews) to maintain alignment and momentum on key initiatives.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science).
MBA is a plus.
Experience
7–10 years in Product Management, ideally within tech, logistics, mobility, or e-commerce.
Hands-on experience with marketplace platforms, dynamic pricing, or matching algorithms is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert insights into actionable product decisions.
Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
Deep understanding of marketplace mechanics and pricing strategies.
Experience with A/B testing and rapid iteration cycles.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and cross-functional environment with a bias toward execution.
