Waiter/Waitress

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic hospitality team. Your role will involve greeting customers, taking and serving orders, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly and cheerful attitude.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering system.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables periodically and addressing concerns.
• Clear and clean tables promptly and thoroughly for the next guests.
• Engage with customers to ensure positive experiences and repeat visits.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless dining service and preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and dining room.
• Process customer payments and handle cash or card transactions accurately.
• Assist in setting up restaurant and dining areas for special events or functions.
• Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills to handle cash or process credit card payments.
• Keen attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards in a dining setting.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team efficiently.
