About the Role

Our client is seeking a Freelance Backend and Blockchain Developer to drive the final integration and secure delivery of a next-generation platform. You’ll work at the intersection of backend engineering and blockchain, collaborating closely with Design, Frontend, and the CTPO to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable solutions. This is a freelance, remote-first opportunity with immediate impact — perfect for builders who thrive on ownership and rapid delivery.

This role is pivotal in bringing a high-stakes product to life. You’ll be responsible for ensuring robust backend integrations, secure access controls, and flawless end-to-end testing. Your work will directly influence the platform’s reliability, security, and user experience — making you a key driver of business outcomes and client success.

Key Responsibilities

• Finalize backend integrations, ensuring Stripe payment APIs sync accurately with status APIs
• Validate ticket data and status fields across all user flows
• Set up secure, role-based credential logic for Admin, Organizer, Partner, and Consumer roles
• Implement Twilio Chat APIs, scoped per user role and context
• Refactor and consolidate backend endpoints under api.[domain].io
• Support full QA and end-to-end testing in collaboration with Design, Frontend, and Product teams
• Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and rapid delivery

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, REST APIs, and serverless architecture
• Proven expertise with Solana, including NFT creation and transaction workflows
• Strong understanding of Firebase Authentication and secure role-based access design
• Experience integrating Stripe and chat/messaging APIs (e.g., Twilio)
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure Functions and debugging production APIs is a plus
• Familiarity with Azure Cosmos DB, Firebase (Auth via Social + Wallets), Stripe, Revolution, Twilio Chat, and Azure Cloud

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required

Other Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong ownership mindset and a drive for delivering real impact
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Immediate availability for project start
• Freelance contract with a target delivery window of 2–3 weeks
