Job Description

As a Junior Staffing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our talent acquisition team to ensure the best candidates are matched with the most fitting job opportunities within our organization. You will engage in various aspects of the recruitment process, gaining valuable insights and experience in hiring strategies and workforce planning. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the job advertisement process, ensuring clear, engaging, and precise postings.
  • Coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers to ensure seamless scheduling.
  • Participate in initial screening of resumes to shortlist potential candidates for interviews.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with job requirements.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and track applicant data efficiently.
  • Assist with reference checks and background verifications to validate candidate information.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to refine sourcing strategies and methodologies.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events to enhance the recruitment funnel.
  • Provide analytical support by compiling recruitment metrics and insights for reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company recruitment policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support candidates through the onboarding process for a smooth transition into their new role.
  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team as required to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruitment or human resources is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with candidates and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software is desirable.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive candidate information.
