Civil Estimating Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field is mandatory.
• Minimum of five years of experience in construction cost estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management.
• Proficiency in cost-estimating software, such as Bluebeam or PlanSwift.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with close attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with various project stakeholders.
• Certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) are advantageous.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations affecting cost estimates.
