The Operations Manager - Logistics will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our end-to-end logistics processes. This dynamic position requires effective leadership to oversee the daily operations within the logistics department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments to fashion strategies that improve logistics systems, minimize costs, and heighten productivity. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, operational acumen, and a keen focus on customer satisfaction. Your priorities will include handling supply chain disruptions proactively, refining inventory management systems, and drawing actionable insights through the analysis of logistical data.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the efficient daily operations and long-term vision of logistics.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to align logistics strategies.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in logistics processes.
  • Develop and enforce company policies that enhance logistical standards.
  • Lead and mentor logistics teams, driving engagement and performance.
  • Evaluate and select logistics service providers, ensuring quality service.
  • Prepare and present reports on logistical performance to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international transport regulations.
  • Resolve logistical challenges promptly while minimizing impact on operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and negotiate favorable terms.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years experience in a logistics operations role.
  • Strong proficiency with logistics software and technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful team management and leadership.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder negotiations.
