A Business Development Consultant in recruitment plays a pivotal role in expanding and managing a company's client base while aligning recruitment strategies with business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs to develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to win new client contracts and retain existing ones.
  • Negotiate terms of business with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and recruitment agency teams.
  • Track market activity to develop innovative sales strategies in recruitment services.
  • Analyze clients’ performance and satisfaction levels to recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Supervise business development initiatives and report on their outcomes to leadership.
  • Stay updated on recruitment trends to provide insightful consultations to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience in business development within a recruitment agency or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment market dynamics and business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with corporate clients effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain networks and relationships within industry sectors.
  • Analytical skills for assessing business performance and developing improvement strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other tools used for client relationship management.
