The role of a Payroll and PRO (Public Relations Officer) Supervisor is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes and the effective management of public relations activities within an organization. This hybrid position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can coordinate payroll functions and manage public relations duties seamlessly. As a Payroll and PRO Supervisor, you will oversee the preparation and distribution of payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your expertise in liaising with government departments and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders will be crucial. Additionally, the successful candidate will be tasked with developing strategies to enhance employee satisfaction while ensuring that company policies are adhered to diligently.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing for all company employees accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations for payroll.
  • Manage employee records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department for timely payroll disbursements.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Review payroll inputs, such as timesheets, to ensure correctness.
  • Prepare reports summarizing payroll activities on a monthly basis.
  • Serve as a point of contact for government departments for public relations.
  • Manage visa applications, renewals, and cancellations for expatriate employees.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill manpower requisitions effectively.
  • Maintain relationships with governmental bodies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement public relations strategies in line with corporate goals.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management and public relations.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws and payroll best practices is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in payroll software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
