Role Purpose
Are you ready to design the future of store interface systems?
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Engineer I – SIU to join our cutting-edge Development Engineering team. This role focuses on the conceptual and detailed design, testing, and analysis of Store Interface Unit (SIU) systems. As part of our team, youll contribute to the performance, integration, and advancement of critical embedded and interface technologies in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Develop: Assist senior engineers in conceptualizing and developing store interface components and systems.
Analyze & Simulate: Perform detailed testing, simulation, and analysis using both hardware and software tools to optimize system performance.
Document & Report: Create technical documentation including design descriptions, specifications, test procedures, and reports.
Collaborate & Communicate: Actively participate in team meetings, design reviews, and interface with cross-functional teams to present findings and updates.
Field & Lab Testing: Support lab and flight testing efforts to validate SIU functionality and performance.
Stay Informed: Conduct research on emerging store interface technologies and contribute to system innovation.
Ensure Compliance: Follow regulatory standards and internal safety guidelines in all development activities.
What We’re Looking For
General Competencies

Attention to detail in technical documentation
Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Technical Skills
Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time software development
Basic knowledge of:
Programming in C, C++, Python
Embedded firmware development
PCB design principles and practices
Understanding of system engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, testing, configuration management)
Exposure to simulation and measurement tools for testing and evaluation
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Communications, or Computer Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
🧪 Experience:
Minimum: 2 years of relevant engineering experience
Preferred: 4 years in a similar technical role within the defense or embedded systems industry
