Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural designs and plans for projects based on client requirements.
• Conduct site evaluations to assess the project implications and site viability.
• Research and comply with local architectural standards, zoning laws, and regulations.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) technology to draft detailed project blueprints.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to review designs and specifications.
• Lead the preparation of detailed construction drawings and specifications for tender processes.
• Ensure all architectural plans are compliant with applicable health, safety, and planning regulations.
• Manage and help resolve potential issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Liaise with clients to ensure all project deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee the selection and ordering of necessary materials and resources for construction.
• Update and make necessary modifications to architectural designs as required by stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of new design trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field is required.
• Licensed architect with applicable state certification and registration.
• At least five years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Excellent visualization skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
