Engineering Manager Geo Makers Maps Intelligence

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects.
• 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
• Experience in developing and managing data processing pipelines, ETL jobs, and data warehouse infrastructure.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with business intelligence tools and transforming them with AI and machine learning capabilities.
• Experience in quality assessment techniques (e.g., new metric development, SxS, operational evaluation design, LLM-based scaled metric design).
• Understanding of data privacy principles and experience in implementing access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Maptrics platforms evolution into a GenAI-enabled insights engine.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Go-To-Market, Data Science, and UX teams in Bangalore and the US.
• Advocate data quality, for emerging markets. Oversee the development and management of data processing pipelines, ETL jobs, and data warehouse infrastructure to support our business intelligence and data quality objectives.
• Develop and refine quality assessment techniques, including new metric development, side-by-side evaluations, and LLM-based scaled metric design.
• Build, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and performance culture enabling autonomy.
