Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a safe, positive learning environment that encourages development and exploration.
• Observe and individually assess each child’s progress to tailor educational needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about children's progress and needs.
• Organize and lead educational activities that enhance children's learning experiences.
• Encourage social interactions amongst children for developing interpersonal skills.
• Maintain accurate records of child development and classroom dynamics.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance and align curriculum strategies.
• Ensure classroom hygiene and safety procedures are followed rigorously.
• Stimulate children’s curiosity through innovative play and exploration activities.
• Support the emotional and intellectual growth of children continually.
• Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working as a preschool teacher or in a similar educational role.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for educating and nurturing preschool children.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid or a willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to manage a diverse group of children in a classroom setting.
