Senior Network Engineer (225-913)

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. You will work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver strategic network solutions that meet business objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security, along with an ability to manage and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Monitor network performance to identify issues and ensure optimal functioning at all times.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems to ensure network integrity.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and support business applications and network services.
• Manage and mentor junior network engineers, providing guidance and support in technical tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes for audit and review purposes.
• Implement network security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality from threats.
• Coordinate with external vendors to manage and optimize network hardware and software solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to ensure the network infrastructure remains state-of-the-art.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct routine testing to guarantee network resilience.
• Conduct network capacity planning and analysis to support the organization's growth and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5–7 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise network architecture, protocols, and security practices.
• Strong experience with network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex network issues and delivering effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate network issues and solutions to stakeholders.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
