The Senior Parts & Services Consultant is a pivotal role within our organization, designed for facilitating the connection between our customers and the technical support they require. This position demands an individual who is not only experienced in the field of parts and services but also possesses exceptional customer service and communication skills. You will be responsible for advising on complex issues, providing industry-leading service, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction. As a Senior Consultant, you will also lead and mentor junior team members, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to offer high-quality service. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving operational success and building long-lasting relationships with clients, thereby contributing to the overall growth and reputation of our company.


Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and consultation services regarding parts and services to customers.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the product line and service offerings.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely and efficient customer support.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, offering guidance and training as needed.
  • Address complex client inquiries and resolve issues with innovative solutions.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate product and service recommendations.
  • Participate in inventory management to ensure availability of critical parts and components.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on customer feedback and service performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote parts and services effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years experience in a parts or services-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive or industrial parts and their applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a track record of client satisfaction.
  • Effective leadership abilities with experience guiding and mentoring teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Willingness to stay abreast of industry developments and learn continually.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
