The Interior Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of interior design projects from inception to completion. This highly organized and detail-oriented professional collaborates closely with designers, architects, contractors, and clients to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. By acting as a liaison between various stakeholders, the Interior Project Coordinator ensures that all aspects of the project align with the client's vision and meet high-quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication between designers, contractors, and clients regularly.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and compliance with plans.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle promptly.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Maintain an organized project file system, including all contracts and plans.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Support the design team in client presentations and proposals preparation.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve project processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or management in interior design.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and construction processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Proficiency in project management software and design tools preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and building regulations required.
