Responsibilities

• Assess financial operations, pinpointing issues, and suggesting corrective measures as necessary.
• Supervise and guide accounting staff to ensure financial reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update financial databases and systems for the organization's budgeting needs.
• Prepare detailed reports for management to help them make critical financial decisions.
• Serve as a liaison between management and external parties such as auditors and tax authorities.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and standards, implementing changes where required.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Professional accounting certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in an accounting-related role is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for effective financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot numerical errors is crucial.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different departments.
