Job Description

The Supermarket Branch Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a grocery store's branch. This involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and enhancing customer service. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or surpluses.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

  • Prepare and present regular reports to upper management on branch performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or in a managerial position within retail.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a customer service focus.
  • Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team management.
  • Familiarity with financial and customer service principles in retail settings.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and retail management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in management is advantageous.
