Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor & Inventory Manager plays a critical role in overseeing warehouse operations and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity. This position is responsible for the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, loading, and dispatching of goods. The individual will develop and implement inventory control practices, aiming to minimize loss and waste while maximizing the accuracy and reliability of stock management systems. The Warehouse Supervisor & Inventory Manager will coordinate with other departments to guarantee that warehouse operations align with company objectives and customer expectations. Additionally, they will lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training to foster a safe and efficient work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise all warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
  • Implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and turnover.
  • Oversee the maintenance of inventory records and ensure regular stock audits are carried out.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff to maximize productivity and workplace safety.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline distribution processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling standards to prevent damage or loss of goods.
  • Analyze warehouse performance data and identify areas for operational improvements.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures for efficient and secure warehouse operations.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status and warehouse performance for upper management.
  • Lead safety training sessions and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Utilize warehouse management software to monitor and improve inventory control operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse management or related role.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a diverse team of employees.
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to analyze data and create actionable insights for process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with all levels of staff and management.
