Job Description

As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our dining establishment, ensuring the seamless daily operations of the restaurant. Your role encompasses overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing budgets, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will take charge of coordinating and optimizing all activities, from back-of-house logistics to front-of-house service, to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be crucial in handling various operational challenges, thus driving the restaurant's success and profitability. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that maximize efficiency and profits.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure consistent availability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly to heighten satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with chefs and other team members to improve menu offerings.
  • Manage financial aspects including budgeting and expense control measures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain the cleanliness and ambiance of the venue.
  • Coordinate and oversee special events, catering, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze restaurant performance data to improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve collective goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a managerial position within the restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and basic financial principles.
