Responsibilities

• Analyze and create design plans for various structural engineering projects.
• Coordinate with architects to integrate structural elements into building designs.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate detailed blueprints.
• Conduct site assessments to ensure structural integrity of materials and designs.
• Assess project feasibility and identify any structural issues or constraints.
• Develop and evaluate project budgets and schedules for engineering tasks.
• Ensure designs comply with regional and national building codes and standards.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to project specifications.
• Communicate and collaborate with construction teams during project implementation.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior engineers and interns.
• Lead project review meetings to monitor progress and address design challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, methods, and regulations in structural engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and engineering roles.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or STAAD.Pro.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months preferred.
