Shipping Manager

A Shipping Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipment process, from order fulfillment to delivery. They coordinate with carriers, warehouse teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely shipments. With strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of logistics, a Shipping Manager plays a critical role in optimizing the shipping process.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all shipping activities, including order processing, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor carriers' performance and negotiate contracts to obtain competitive rates and service levels.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize packaging and loading processes.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping records, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation.
• Develop and implement shipping processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Analyze shipping data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Provide exceptional customer service and promptly respond to any inquiries or concerns.

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, international regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in using shipping software, systems, and tracking tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
