The Senior Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for a set of tech or non-tech categories across ENBD Group locations. This role ensures category-level delivery of service to businesses, manage spend and cost savings in line with strategies set by the Business / Tech Sourcing Heads. It plays a pivotal role in translating sourcing strategies into actionable plans within assigned categories across Group Locations.

On a day-day you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and Implementing Sourcing Strategies for Multi Categories across Group Locations – you will be using leading sourcing tools to develop and implement Strategic Sourcing, including: supplier assessment, supplier financial analysis, RFI, RFQ & RFP based on certain threshold, Strategy Advisory, Scope Advisory, etc.
  • Manage direct reports.
  • Drive annual cost savings, supplier and service improvement in each spend category across Group Locations.
  • Measure And Track Performance Within Each Spend Category and Define Budgetary Impact: Establish KPIs for each spend category. Define the data collection process; forecast budgetary impact and track actual savings.
  • Monitor Category Strategy Implementation and Contract Compliance: Actively monitor the performance of contracts under management of assigned categories to ensure savings identified are meet, and business comply with the contracts in place.
  • Cross Functional Team Management: Meet stakeholders weekly / monthly to collaborate and discuss all the activities, including ensuring alignment of sourcing team across Group Locations.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage and develop key supplier relationships for the assigned portfolio.
  • Drive Best Practices For Sourcing Categories: Ensure adoption of best practices and regular exchange of knowledge across Group Locations.
  • Uphold Internal And External Policies, Regulations And Laws: Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws across the bank International locations.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • MCIPS, CIPS 3 / 4 level
  • Multi-year track record in delivering cost savings and strong supplier performance.
  • Specific commodity experience.
  • 8 year+ Strategic sourcing/category management.
  • Technical skills: problem-solving and analytical skills, construct/execute multiple complex analyses simultaneously, market research & intelligence, demand management, risk management
  • Managerial skills: project management, negotiating skills, change management, stakeholder management, planning categories.
