An IT Technical Support Engineer is the cornerstone for the seamless operation of a company's technology infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and oversee the integration of all IT resources and applications.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate staff on computer and software operations.
  • Implement diagnostic processes and procedures to identify root causes of technical issues.
  • Monitor network activity to identify issues, ensuring systems performance optimization.
  • Assist in timely upgrades and security updates according to company policies.
  • Engage in continual learning to stay abreast of emerging technologies and improve service delivery.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on recurring technical problems for long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members on projects to support the company's IT objectives.
  • Document technical knowledge and create comprehensive guides for company use.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an IT support environment, solving complex hardware issues.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts and protocols is essential.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with users.
  • Experience with different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux preferred.
  • Proficiency in using remote support tools for troubleshooting and diagnostics tasks.
