Pharmacy Assistant

The pharmacy assistant supports the pharmacist in dispensing medications and providing customer service. They assist in preparing prescriptions, counting and packaging medications, and organizing pharmacy inventory. Pharmacy assistants also handle administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing insurance claims. They should have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. The pharmacy assistant may work in retail pharmacies or healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities
